Homebrew Fey-Bred Corgi Race Details

Originally bred as mounts for Pixie lords. After generations of exposure to fey energies, the Corgi developed sentience and eventually true intelligence. In recent times the Corgi have served as mounts and sometimes familiars for powerful Fey. It is uncommon, but not unheard for such a creature to earn its freedom through great deeds. 

Fey-Bred Corgi Traits

While maintaining many of it's more primal canine characteristics, these corgi have evolved a broader intellect allowing them to become competent in a number of professions.

Ability Score Increase - Charisma

Corgis are naturally adorable, giving them a +2 bonus to Charisma.

Focused Training

The Fey raise their Corgi to serve as mounts or familiars, granting a +2 bonus to either DEX or INT

Boundless Energy

Despite its small size, the Corgi is an extremely energetic beast, granting it advantage on Initiative.

MIGHTY BOOF

Sometimes the smallest mouth speaks the loudest and the smallest doggo has the biggest bork. Once per day, the Corgi can unleash it's voice in a stunning AOE attack. Creatures withing 20 feet of the Corgi must make a DEX save, DC 15. On a failed save, they take 1d6 damage and are pushed 5ft away from the Corgi. Creatures take 1/2 damage on a successful save.

Darkvision

The Corgi sees almost as well at night as it does during the day, possessing Darkvision up to 60ft.

Puppy Dog Eyes

The Corgi is Proficient in the Persuasion and Perception skills.

A Nose for Trouble

The Corgis keen sense of smell grants it advantage on Perception and Survival checks related to scent
