Homebrew š¾ Cougar Tabaxi Species Details
Description
Cougar Tabaxi are mountain-dwelling cousins of their jungle kin. Muscular and broad-shouldered, their coats are tawny gold, sandy brown, or dusky gray, often with faint striping or solid coloration. They are known less for insatiable curiosity and more for watchful patience, survival instinct, and fierce loyalty. While jungle Tabaxi chase stories and treasures, Cougar Tabaxi pursue prey, honor, and endurance, moving like silent predators across craggy peaks and forests alike.
Culture & Naming Traditions
Cougar Tabaxi live in small, scattered clans across mountain ranges, high forests, and wild borderlands. Unlike their jungle kin who thrive in bustling villages, Cougar Tabaxi prefer quiet, solitude, and open space. They are patient hunters and fierce protectors of their territory, and they value strength, cunning, and endurance above material wealth.
While jungle Tabaxi are known for their endless curiosity, Cougar Tabaxi are known for their focus. They may still pursue knowledge, stories, or treasures, but only if such quests serve their goals of survival, honor, or the thrill of the hunt.
