Homebrew Aasimarian Elf Species Details
An Aasimar (pronounced AH-sih-mar) are mortals who carry a spark of the Upper Planes within their souls. Whether descended from an angelic being or infused with celestial power, they can fan that spark to bring light, healing, and heavenly fury. Although most people associate Aasimars with people of human descent, Asimars can be born to any species.
An Aasimarian Elf is an Elf with many of the same traits as the rest of their kin, however, they are born with Celestial blood, which grants them unique traits not possessed most elves. The Aasimarian Elf's Celestial traits began to manifest as they mature and can take the form of metallic freckles, luminous eyes, a halo, or the skin color of an angel (silver, opalescent green, or coppery red). These features start subtle and become obvious when the Aasimarian Elf learns to reveal their full celestial nature. Once these traits manifest themselves, the Aasimarian nature of these Elves are fully revealed.
The Aasimarian nature of these Elves can complicate their lives. Some folk see Aasimarian Elves as favored by the divines similar to Astral Elves, but to a greater extent as they are even rarer. However, other folk, Elven supremacists, view them with contempt as they see Aasimarian Elves as tainting their pure elven blood within the blood of another race. While Aasimarian Elves are called to a greater purpose because of their celestial blood, they feel the weight of the intense hope placed upon them while they are impeded discriminations against their hybrid nature.

You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.
Celestial Blood
You gain resistance to necrotic and radiant damage. You know the Light cantrip and when you reach character levels 3 and 5, you learn Cure Wounds and Prayer of Healing. You always have those spells prepared. You can cast each spell once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast them in that way when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast the spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. You also have physical features such as metallic freckles, luminous eyes, a halo, or the skin color of an angel (silver, opalescent green, or coppery red). These features start subtle and become obvious when you learn to reveal your full celestial nature.
Fey Ancestry
You have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Charmed condition.
Keen Senses
You have proficiency in the perception skill.
Trance
You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a Long Rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in a trancelike meditation, during which you retain consciousness.
