It takes 4d8 necrotic or psychic damage(your choice) on a failed save, or half as much as a successful one. On a failed save, you also rip knowledge out of the target. Until the spell ends, you have proficiency with any skills that the target has, and you know any cantrips the target knows(if applicable).
