A beam of crackling energy streaks toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 force damage.
The spell creates more than one beam when you reach higher levels: two beams at 5th level, three beams at 11th level, and four beams at 17th level. You can direct the beams at the same target or at different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each beam.
nothing
I sold my soul for this cantrip OMEGALUL
You can twin EB until you reach 5th level. It’s incapable of targeting more than one target level 1-4 *character level, mind you, not class level*. At 5th level, it creates 2 beams that each *can* target separate creatures, therefore making it illegal *RAW and RAI, anyway, a DM could absolutely allow twinned EB at 17th level for 8 beams, and maybe a quicken/twinned for 8 bonus action beams, but that’s ridiculous lmao*
edit: just saw your other comments, ignore me plz lol
Casting Word is

beneldritch cumberblast
Do the beams strike simultaneously or one after the other? Could I shoot one at a low hp enemy, roll damage, and if I kill it choose another target for the rest of the beams, and hit it again if it stays alive? Or do you have to choose before making attack rolls/damage rolls?
So I realized that for classes that can already cast spells, you can gain this spell through the Spell Sniper feat. Which means my Paladin could potentially have a 240 ft. ranged spell attack without a Multiclass dip.
idk
Looking at the feat it has 3 variations, none of them cover the paladin so it seems without multiclassing you cannot gain that feat.
Hello friends - so we have a 5th level warlock with 18 CHA and who has taken agonizing blast. In the Attack actions, it is listing Eldritch Blast as:
1d10+16
That can't be right, right?
If you have grasp of hadar and are flying can you pull an enemy 10ft into the air and then take a d6 of falling damage?
The feats variation is for the class you get the cantrip from, not your own class, so a paladin could take this feat, because they have spellcasting, the only requirement for this feat
My question is why do people hate on this cantrip I believe that it is essential for a warlock build heck I am making a variant human bard/sorcerer with the magic initiate feat and I am choosing this cantrip
Take [Illusionist's Bracers] and you can

Y can’t E. Knight use this!?
Would repelling blast/grasp of hadar invocation push/pull effects happen (1-4) X amount of times, equal to the number of beams that hitting that creature? Example: 4 beams hit one enemy, that creature is moved 40 feet?
I’m not an expert, and it’s really up to the DM, but I would say yes.
