You touch one willing creature. Once before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one saving throw of its choice. It can roll the die before or after making the saving throw. The spell then ends.

You do you of course, but allowing it as a reaction is way overpowered for a cantrip. As it is, it's still quite strong and underrated. There's actually lots of times where you know in advance you might trigger a saving throw (tinkering with a strange magic device, opening a potentially trapped chest, crossing a rickety bridge) and this is very handy to have for them.
