I use this spell for hunting because then I don’t need to make an attack roll

question, would any DM allow you to cast message, then cast this (outside of combat ofc) and be able to send the mockery through the message to like, double the distance?

That's an interesting idea. Message has a listed duration of "1 round" for no really obvious reason, so it might be fun to exploit that by doing something weird like this.

How do you get vicious mockery for other classes? I want to try and play another class instead of a bard.

It's not on any other class's spell list, but here are a few other ways to get it:

• Take the "Magic Initiate" feat with the Bard option, which grants two cantrips from the Bard spell list
• As a Warlock, take the "Pact of the Tome" option at 3rd level, which gives you three cantrips from any spell list
• Multiclass and take a level of Bard

I’m going to play a Druid with magic initiate, bard  so she’s gonna just be able to cast this I don’t think the damage will increase because its just a feat but it would be pretty awesome to have viciously, mocking Druid
