You draw upon the earth's latent iron, shaping it with your will. Choose one of the following effects:
- Bludgeoning Weapon: You create a simple bludgeoning weapon, such as a mace or club, in your hand. This weapon functions the same as its standard crafted version.
- Limb Encasement: You encase your arms and legs in raw iron, granting you a +1 bonus to all unarmed strike damage rolls.
- Iron Shield: You create a crude iron shield, granting you a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn.
At Higher Levels:
- 5th Level: You can now choose one of the following additional effects:
- Piercing Weapon: You create a simple piercing weapon, such as a spear or dagger, in your hand. This weapon functions the same as its standard crafted version
- Full Body Encasement: You encase your entire body in raw iron, granting you the equivalent of plate armor until the start of your next turn.
- Fast Hands of Iron: If you choose to encase your arms or legs, your unarmed strikes have an additional +1 to hit.
11th Level: You can now choose one of the following additional effects:- Slashing Weapon: You create a simple slashing weapon, such as a sword or axe, in your hand. This weapon functions the same as its standard crafted version
- Enhanced Strikes: If you choose to encase your arms or legs, your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d6 terra (bludgeoning) damage.
- 17th Level: The items you create from this spell become permanent until you dismiss them.
Note: The damage dealt by weapons created with Ferrum is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage.
