You create a ball of Abberant Liquid and propel it at one creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 Bludgeoning damage. Hit or miss, the ball then explodes. The target and each creature within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be coated in Abberant Liquid. Each object or surface in that area is also coated.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot: The bludgeoning damage increases by 1d10 and the radius increases by 5 feet for each spell slot level above 2.
