You use your life force to create a simple weapon that is attached to one limb. You take 4 damage to conjure your weapon as material cost. You cannot let go, If you would become disarmed the weapon disappears. You may dismiss it as a bonus action and reabsorb the lost health.
At Higher Levels. When cast at higher character levels the damage of the weapon increases

Posted Jun 14, 2018Hi. I really like the concept for this weapon but I think you should change the spellcasting mechanics to be both Somatic and Material. The material could be something like a pint (or 500ml if you're nasty) of blood. It would also make things interesting if you could also use the blood of another creature (either unconscious or fully aware) to conjure the blade. Additionally, I think specifying if the weopon must be simple, martial, or two-handed will help others that want to use this on their character know the "flavor" of the spell.
Cheers,
A fan.
