Everything is destroyed, unless a wish spell is cast to counter this spell within the casting time. The DM loses control of everything and you chose a new DM to start a new world. You must all create new characters. This spell cannot be reversed.
Can add 666 hours of casting time and 666 GP of glitter to cast as a 10th level spell
If cast as a 10th level spell then in your next campaign you can instead sacrifice 666 spellcasters and become Asmodeus until killed in the 9th hell or gain this spell as a cantrip
* - (666 GP worth of glitter)

I thought this would be interesting as an arc for a campaign. The party gets word that a powerful being has begun this ritual and they have until the casting time is done to stop them.
+69 -69...
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be
I assume the caster would set up defenses around themselves and prepare in advance before casting.
Nah, it's 10th lvl.
actualy in the lore there are 10th level spells but they are kinda impossible to use as Mystra block them
but that is just on Forgoten realms
so mhee

The rating for this spell went up after XP to Level 3's video was uploaded.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha i love it
Chad
inspiration for my spell :)
Cool concept for a campaign tho
A God related to Divination should see the end of everything coming. It should have time to cast wish or warn another God that can cast wish if they themself can't. This spell is therefore useless against a DM that has an idea of the lore of DnD...
On the other hand, no way you can destroy the Universe with a 'mere' level 9 spell. Considering what the only cannon level 12 spell achieved, this should be at least level 13. Impossible to cast...
tl. dr. : it's a joke, I get it.
high magic... ritualistic magic including multiple casters capable of casting 9th level spells. That is what it takes to canonically cast 10 level and up magic after one guy tried becoming God of Magic through a level 12 spell. An effect, mind you, that is far weaker than destroying the universe.
So, If I as a DM have an NPC cast this, I can force someone else to be the next DM?
The one good thing I can say about this spell is at least anyone trying to cast it will die of exhaustion first.
This is a spell Chad Thundercock would choose
this spell is just the dm saying “no, someone else has to dm now. that’s what the description says.”
Not a bad spell at all. Kinda Majora's Mask vibes with the whole time limit before the world is destroyed. Might benefit from being a cantrip though. It's a little underpowered as is IMO.
Finally, an excuse to get someone else to dm a game for once
