Up to ten berries appear in your hand and are infused with magic for the duration. A creature can use its action to eat one berry. Eating a berry restores 1 hit point, and the berry provides enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one day.
The berries lose their potency if they have not been consumed within 24 hours of the casting of this spell.

JC / Sage advice already ruled on this, you can indeed bost the healing of goodberry with feats/abilities like that of life cleric.
JC also ruled you can indeed eat multiple goodberries per day, no checks required just an action per berry.
10 can fit in your hand. They aren’t melons. Their magical nourishment like Lemmas bread in LOTR
In my view no, because the creature has to take an action to eat it and unconscious people cN’t take actions.
Can the berries sustain a vampire
Since all 10 appear in the caster's hand, I would imagine they are berry-sized 😄 My interpretation would be that because of how the magic works, it would be overwhelming to the person eating the berry to eat multiple at once, and maybe add a roll with increasing DC per berry if they tried to eat multiple 🤷🏻♂️
Up to ten appear in your hand... So maybe the size of what, a cherry at the largest?
Druid with one level of Life Domain. From druid, you get healing spirit and goodberry. Multiple druid subclasses have features that enhance healing, like the Chalice constellation for Circle of Stars, Enhanced Bond for Circle of Wildfire, bonus action Balm of Summer Court for Circle of Dreams, and Bear Totem for Circle of The Shepherd. Druids also get all the same healing spells that clerics get, plus additional spells like healing spirit and goodberry. Just a one level dip in Life Domain and you get Disciple of Life, which increases the effectiveness of all healing spells, with a small price to pay. Combine Disciple of Life with goodberry or healing spirit.
Then why don't you make profit off of it. Selling Goodberries that have serious health benefits. Make many different goodberry products. Goodberry Pie, Goodberry Cake, Goodberry Juice, Goodberry Salad, the possibilities are endless! Perfect way to spend your downtime!
Pack Tactics has some very good goodberry, advice on Youtube. Links below. See what I did there. Very good; Goodberry. No need. I'll see myself out.

No, as "A creature can use its action to eat one berry." Since it uses its action and if they're unconscious they are also incapacitated therefore, "An incapacitated creature can't take actions or reactions."
But that's just RAW. Jeremy Crawford thinks you can though. Link below. So ask your DM. Then have them text or email their answer so you have proof they said you could. LOL

Bananas and pineapple are berries, so might makes sense
Chainlock paired with the ranger of the party to have their imp be the invisible combat medic with this. :D
Just want to throw in my vote against combining this with Disciple of Life, regardless of how official Jeremy Crawford's opinion or Sage Advice releases might be.
It's just too powerful, so I'm not looking for ways to make it work, I'm looking for ways to keep it reasonable, and the text strikes me as very clear.
"When you use a spell" means the spell must be active, and the Goodberry spell is instantaneous, so it's not active during eating.
The point of the "use a spell" language, rather than "cast a spell" is things like Healing Spirit, which is active for multiple turns. So with healing spirit you are "using a spell to heal" any time you use it while it's active, and Disciple of Life could apply. This same logic doesn't apply to Goodberry, where you are using an action to eat after the spell is already over.
Neat and tidy. It's sensible, logical, and avoids Goodberry being an obnoxious overpowered spam that deletes all need for spending hit dice!
[Now for a source of out of combat healing spam that keeps everyone constantly topped up, you should check out the Healer feat instead, that thing is a jackpot, especially at lower levels, but also has a sensible limitation of one use per target per short rest, which stops you from breaking the game]
.
ok so I have a weird question,
Can i feed this to my horse instead of buying grain, and if so, could that work with farm animals such as Cow, Pig, and Chicken. Asking for a druid Encounter I'm building
I do not see why not since it says "A creature can use it's action" The druid Can speak to animals and ask them to eat a berry.
Edit: I figure the druid being able to do this, would make sure his animals (and in turn him) survive the winter months when food is scarce
This implies that you can also feed a lich these berries and they can live off of them, instead of needing souls for nourishment
level 2 can make it so you gain 4 hp from 1 at LEVEL 2!
AT LEVEL 2 you get 4 hp from eating 1
Does this work on a tarrasque?
If you feel your players are abusing goodberries (often by using unspent spell slots at night, so they have a collection of healing berries for the next day), you might consider the following...
