Base Class: Blood Hunter
Founded by members especially keen in sacrificing their bodies essence to gain power, the Order of the Crimson Blade perfect the act of loosing strengh in order to gain it, always holding the balance between the two. Due to their many risky endeavors harming themselfs, most other Orders see them as masochistic maniacs, that go to far in loosing blood to exploit every last bit of power inside themselfs. Even if that is partially true, the Order continues its work, always of the opinion, that they will unlock greater powers in hemocraft than anyone has ever seen.
Crimson Blade
Your recurring contact with self-harm in order to strenghten yourself has led to the ability to do so on ocassions, where others can not.
You can can amplify your crimson rites, as you would your blood curses. You can do so by, upon activating a rite choosing to take half the damage you took to activate the rite (rounded up) as additional damage. If a crimson rite has been amplified, the weapon on which the rite was applied deals additional damage equal to two times your hemocraft die, rather than one.
The Taste of Blood
When choosing this Order at 3rd level, you unlock the ability to sustain a blood pool, containing energy to fuel your hemocraft. On your turn (no action required) you can use one of your hit die and add the number rolled to the value of your blood pool. Once per turn, whenever you would take damage to use a hemocraft ability, you can instead substract the according number of points from your blood pool. At the end of combat your blood pool is emptied.
Blood Frenzy
You can enter a state of hightened awareness and prowess, channeling the forces of hemovraft through your body.
As an action on your turn, you can take damage equal to one throw of your hemocraft die plus your proficiency bonus, to enter your blood frenzy for 1 minute.
While in the frenzy, you gain the following benefits:
-you have resistance to all damage you inflict on yourself, to power your hemocraft,
-whenever you take damage, to fuel your abilities, you can choose one creature within 10 feet, which takes necrotic damage equal to the damage you took
-you have advantage on attach throws against creatures, who have less than half their hitpoints left
You can activate the frenzy a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all expende uses upon finishing a long rest.
Brand of Reaping
Upon reaching 11th level, your mastery of hemocraft has reached the point, where you can use the blood of others to fuel it.
Whenever you damage a creature that is affected by your brand of castigation with a melee weapon attack, you can reap a bit of that creatures blood to use later, adding a third of the damage infkicted to the value of your blood pool. You can reap the essence of another creature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all expended uses when finishing a long rest.
Blood Curse of the Sanguine
When reaching 15th level, you have learned to use your stored blood, to harm enemies that harm you. You gain the Blood Curse of the Sanguine. This Blood Curse does not count against the maximum number of Blood Curses you know.
Blood Curse of the Sanguine:
Whe hit by a melee weapon attack you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a Contsitution saving throw. On failed save, the creature takes necrotic damage equal to the currebt value of your blood pool and half that damage on a failed save.
Amplify: When amplified, on a failed save, the attacker is also pralyzed for a number of rounds equal to a fifth of the value of your blood pool.
Master of the Blood
Upon reaching 18th level with this subclass, you have unrivaled mastery in using hemocraft and manipulating the blood in others.
You gain the following benefits:
-when attacking a creature with less than half of its hitpoints left, you score a critical hit on 19 or 20 on the d20,
-Once per long rest, you can amplify a blood curse without taking damage or using your blood pool
-whenver you use a blood curse, you can choose one creature within 10 feet which takes necrotic damage equal to one roll of your hemocraft die + your Intelligence modifier
