Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Arias know that the magic of music is not contained within an instrument, but within the soul of the singer. With angelic voices and unrivalled talent, bards of this college leave their audiences speechless, awe-struck, and weepy.

The strength of these bards lies in their powers of motivation, which brings out the best in those they inspire. Sometimes hired as personal performers for nobility, kings have been known to leave private concerts only to enact grand policies of advancement shortly thereafter.

The college’s members can often be found in empty halls and secluded churches, practising their talents in front of vacant rooms. Stumbling upon these performances has been likened to a good-luck charm of the highest order--nothing is more beautiful, it is said, than a bard of Arias singing for themselves.

Voice of Grace

When you join the College of Arias at 3rd level, your voice becomes as soothing and pleasant as honey.

When you make a Charisma (Deception, Persuasion, or Performance) ability check with Advantage, you may reroll one of the dice.

Echoed Inspiration

Also at 3rd level, your words of inspiration gain a quality of beauty, further resonating with nearby allies.

When you use your Bardic Inspiration feature on a creature, you may have one creature other than yourself within 10 feet of the original target gain a Bardic Inspiration die for free.

This additional die is a d4, and increase in size to a d6 at level 9, and to a d8 at level 17.

Rousing Ballads

At 6th level, your displays of passion inspire your allies to overcome even the harshest of moments.

When a creature you have inspired with Bardic Inspiration makes an Ability Check, Attack Roll, or Saving Throw with Disadvantage, that creature may roll two Bardic Inspiration dice and add both to the total.

Aria of Indomitability

Starting at 14th level, your performances evoke the purest strength of will from your allies.

You may expend a use of Bardic Inspiration as an Action to begin singing an Aria of Indomitability. While signing in this way, all friendly creatures within 30 feet of you who can hear you roll all saving throws with Advantage.

Your song lasts until the start of your next turn, but you may use either an Action or a Bonus Action on subsequent turns to continue singing without expending additional Bardic Inspiration dice. Sustained singing requires you to maintain concentration, as if you were concentrating on a spell.
