Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Many Rangers lead solitary lives, but the Guerrilla Conclave focuses on the importance of working as a group to stay out of sight, coordinate their attacks and defeat overwhelming numbers of foes.

Guerrilla Training

At 3rd level you learn to help pass on vital knowledge with skills, tools and weapons between members of your band.

You spend 10 minutes discussing strategies and training with a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom Modifier.

Until their next long rest, each of those creatures can choose a skill, weapon or set of artisan's tools you are proficient in but they are not, and add half their proficiency bonus (rounded up) to rolls with that chosen skill, weapon or set of artisan's tools.

Guerrilla’s Guile

You learn to move in concert with your companions and hide your collective presence and communicate silently.

When moving stealthily as part of a group, you may make a single stealth check on behalf of a number of creatures equal to 1+ your Wisdom Modifier. If one of those creatures (other than you) would have disadvantage on stealth checks, you ignore it and roll normally instead.

In addition, you non-verbally can communicate basic information and instructions to a friendly or non-hostile creature. They must be able to see you and share a language to understand you.

Guerrilla Tactics

At 11th Level, you learn to exploit your enemies unawareness to benefit you and your allies.

When you attack a hostile creature from hiding you do not automatically give away your location when the attack hits or misses. The creature instead makes a perception check to locate you, if you successfully hit the creature with your attack they do so with disadvantage.

Creatures hidden with your Guerrilla’s Guile feature also gain this benefit.

Rules Reminder: Any attack made against a creature you are hidden from is made with advantage.

Guerrilla Warfare

At 15th level, you learn to coordinate your attacks with your allies to master control of the battlefield.

Whenever a friendly creature you can see fails to hit a hostile creature with a weapon or spell attack, you may use your reaction to make a single ranged weapon or spell attack against the creature they failed to hit. Creatures hidden with your Guerrilla’s Guile feature also gain this benefit.
