Druid
Base Class: Druid

"From dust we were created and to dust we shall return in time."

Druids of the Circle of Dust allow themselves to drift around the world, blown ever forward by the winds of destiny, knowing that someday, all will be lost and found in the sands of time. It is the fate of all things to be forgotten, left to the dust to slowly reclaim. They seek to honor these forgotten memories, the remnants of lives lived and deaths died. Though a mighty city falls and the Storm rage for a while, when it has blown itself out, the sand is left smooth and beautiful, ready and waiting to be disturbed once more, for a new civilization to rise, unaware of its predecessor buried beneath the dust. The sands see all. The sands bury all. The sands forget all.

Shroud of Fate

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you can cast fog cloud once per day without using a spell slot. When you do so, you summon a cloud of swirling sand instead of fog. Your sight is not impaired by the area, and if cast at 1st level, does not require concentration.

Also, you gain resistance to fire damage.

Circle Spells

The Sands of Fate have granted you the ability to cast certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to circle spells passed down for generations, yet doomed to be forgotten someday.

Once you gain access to a circle spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

DRUID LEVEL SPELLS

3rd

5th

Forgotten Sands

Starting at 6th level, the spirits of the forgotten answer your call for aid. As an action, while within your fog cloud, you can summon a sand spirit with the statistics of a dust mephit. This sand spirit can also become a shielding swirl of dust. As a bonus action, choose one creature within 10 feet of the fog cloud. That creature gains a +2 bonus to AC. This bonus ends if you fall unconscious, the creature moves out of range, or you choose to transform the sand spirit back as a bonus action. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest.

At 14th level, you can summon three sand spirits.

Return to Dust

When you reach 10th level, you can cast gaseous form on yourself once per day without using a spell slot. Your speed is not reduced to 10 feet while in this form. You have advantage on stealth checks to remain hidden in sandy or dusty terrain.

Also, you gain immunity to fire damage.

Absorb Heat

When you reach 14th level, when you are hit with an attack or spell that deals fire damage, you can spend your reaction to regain hit points equal to your level or half the damage, whichever is lower.
