Druid
Base Class: Druid

When the scientists of Clothopolis began digging in the Lachean Wastes, Druids were brought in as consultants. By piecing together the parts they found, Druids were able to shape themselves into beasts long forgotten by time... with some room for interpretation.

The angels of Heaven enjoyed these displays, being particularly fond of the larger creatures. Eager to please, the Druid's forms became more and more exaggerated, and more and more unstable.

The academic intention may have been lost, but ironically these shapes would eventually give them an intimate understanding of mass extinction.

Malleable Wild Shape

Your Wild Shapes can vary in terms of size. When you use your Wild Shape ability, you can choose to make the creature you change into on size larger or smaller than it's standard size.

If you decide to be larger, you get advantage on strength checks and saves, and an extra d4 of damage to your melee weapon attacks. However, you have disadvantage on dexterity checks and saves.

If you decide to be smaller you get advantage on dexterity checks and saves, and an extra d4 of damage to your melee weapon attacks. However, you have disadvantage on strength checks and saves.

Transforming so drastically so quickly causes strain on your body. After using Malleable Wild Shape, you suffer one level of exhaustion when your wildshape ends.

Ancient Forms

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a beast with a challenge rating as high as 1. You ignore the max CR of the Beast Shapes table but must abide by the other limitations there.

Starting at 6th level you can transform into a beast of challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.

You do not need to have seen a creature in order to wild shape into that form.

Surprising Stature

While wildshaped, if your size is Huge or larger, or Small or smaller, you have advantage on attack rolls.

If you're huge or larger, you deal an extra d12 of damage when you attack structures or objects for every size level above Medium.

If you're Small or smaller, you gain a bonus to you AC equal to your wisdom modifier for every level of size below medium.

Primeval Royalty

You can expend 2 uses of your wild shape to transform into a Tyrannosaurus Rex or Giant Ape.

When your Wild Shape ends, you suffer one level of exhaustion.

Interpretive Structure

When you Wild Shape, you can use your own understanding to modify the anatomy of the creatures you become in one of three ways:

Exoskeleton. While wildshaped you resist bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage from non-magical attacks.

Vestigial Limbs. While wildshaped you have additional arms that can be used to grapple creatures, or make one extra melee weapon attack that deals 1d8+your strength modifier.

Primitive Wings. While Wildshaped you have a flying speed of 60 feet, but have to end your turn on a solid surface.

These forms push you beyond your normal limits, when your wildshape ends, you suffer a level of exhaustion.
