Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Similarly to Redemption Paladins, the Paladins of Love don't usually prefer using violence as their first answer, though they're not as strictly bound against it. The first to take this Oath were nobles who were against arranged marriage and wanted to choose their partner because of their qualities and not because of politics. Often called courteous lovers, these Paladins are moved by something higher than sheer lust, and seek to spread the highest sentiment in a world of wretch and hate.

The tenets a Love Paladin needs to abide are the following:
• Don't impair love, especially when it's between someone you love and someone they love
• Encourage love: fight those who suppress it and convince them to embrace it
• Don't betray love: if you have a corresponded love with someone, don't leave them because of greed, lust or other similar reasons, but be prepared to embrace them again if they do so to you and sincerely repent

Burning passion: as a bonus action, you can channel your burning love to become resistant to damage and manipulation. For a minute, you can't act against your will and are resistant to piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage. When you do this, your Intelligence temporarily drops to 6 for all the duration and you're unable to communicate with others, other temporary boosts to your Intelligence such as magic items cannot modify this effect.
