Base Class: Warlock
Perhaps as a child you've always seen the Pooka, or perhaps some event caused you to see this creature. The humanoid animal that seemingly no one but you can see and interact with. Others may call you insane, but the material world seems to twist and turn according to the Pooka. Sometimes its minor things, while other times it seems to exude actual power. Perhaps it's simply a trickster spirit and has chosen you as the host. Or perhaps it's something more sinister, and it's seemingly child like games hold a mirth.
You draw power from a fey creature known as a Pooka, which only you can hear or interact with. The Pooka is a trickster at heart, and seemingly as powerful as the lords of the feywild themselves, or at least close enough. For whatever reason it's taken a personal interest in you, the animal humanoid seemingly being as friendly as a drinking buddy, and as protective as a parent.
Imaginary Protector
Expanded Spell List
The Pooka lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
1st Find Familiar, Dissonant Whispers
2nd Calm Emotions, Magic Mouth
3rd Spirit Guardians, Nondetection
4th Arcane Eye, Greater Invisibility
5th Dream, Telekinesis
Imaginary Protector
Starting at level 1, you learn the Mage Hand cantrip, which counts as a warlock cantrip for you. The mage hand is invisible to all creatures without true sight, but is visible to you at all times.
Additionally, whenever you make a saving throw to resist being Frightened or Charmed, you may use your reaction to gain Advantage on the saving throw.
At level 10, this may also use your reaction to extend this benefit to any creature that you see within 60 feet of you.
Cheer Up!
Starting at level 1, you are able to inspire your friends and allies with your sunny disposition, and your Pooka's help! At level 1, you are able to use a bonus action to restore 1d4 hit points to a creature within 30 feet that can see or hear you. You may use this a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all uses after a short or long rest. This amount increases to 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 12, and your warlock level at level 15.
Made You Look!
At level 6, your pooka grants you another trick to unnerve an unsuspecting creature of your choice. As a bonus action, you may choose one creature that you can see or hear within 60 feet, and attempt to coerce your pooka to actively distract or disturb them in some way. Doing so forces the creature to make a Wisdom Save with the spell save equal to your spell save DC. On a failure, the target suffers disadvantage on it's next attack roll, saving throw, or skill check (Whichever comes first). You may use this a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and regain all uses after a long rest.
At level 16, the target also grants Advantage to yourself and allies until the start of it's next turn.
Friends Forever!
Beginning at level 10, you are able to temporarily bond with your Pooka, granting you the ability to cause mischief even when you're not there! As a free action, you can choose a point that you can see within 60 feet of you. You may choose to cast spells or perform actions as if you were at this location, or your current location. Once you use this feature, you must use a Short or Long rest before you can use it again.
In addition, your Mage Hand can lift up to 30 pounds.
Bag of Tricks
At level 14, you gain access to a small bag of magical tricks bestowed by the Pooka. it is no bigger than a small napsack, but has a variety of charms, powders, and artifacts that the summoner always seems to have at their beck and call. When reaching inside, the summoner can conjure one of the following effects.
-Flask: The flask produces enough alcohol to fill the cups of up to six creatures. Those who partake gain nourishment for the duration of the day. Each creature that drinks must make a Constitution save equal to the Warlock's spell save. On a success, nothing happens. On a failure, the creature sees hallucinations of various silly but ultimately harmless visions for the next hour.
-Sleeping Powder: The Warlock gains a handful of sleeping powder, which they can throw up to thirty feet. Creatures within 10 feet of the impact point must make a Charisma Saving Throw equal to the Warlock's spell save DC. Each creature who fails falls unconscious for 8 hours, or until they take damage, or another creature uses an action to shake them awake. On a success, the creature becomes groggy, but ultimately remains unaffected. Creatures immune to charm effects or magical sleep are immune to this effect.
-Well Dressed Rabbit: You pull a rabbit (or a small beast of your choosing) from the sack (The creature has 1 hit point, 12 intelligence, and 16 charisma, but carries the stats of the creature chosen). The creature is often well dressed, eloquent, and can be given commands, actions to perform, or messages to be carried. Upon giving them an order, they will do it to the best of their ability. It refuses to engage in any violent actions, finding such things ungentlemanly/unlady like. After it has finished, it will return, ask for payment for services (1 GP), before jumping back into the sack. Failure to pay causes the well dressed animal to send a few insults, before jumping back into the sack. If not paid, the next time this ability is used, a normal version of the beast is summoned instead.
-Map of Unseen Lands: You produce a small map, which charts the area within a 10 mile radius. it shows well known locations, marks dangerous lairs and dungeons, and shows topography of the land. Upon using this again, the map is redrawn each time, replacing the old map with whatever features apply to this new location.
-Residium: You produce a silvery powder which may be used in place of a spell component of 100 gp or less, consuming the Residium instead. Using this effect multiple times increases the amount of residium pulled, and spell component that it can replace.
-Itching Powder: You produce a bag of harmless itching powder. You may throw it up to thirty feet. All creatures within 10 feet of the impact point must make a Constitution save against the Warlock's spell save DC. On a failure, a creature is forced to itch uncontrollably until the end of the Warlock's next turn. This causes them to have Disadvantage on weapon attacks, melee, and ranged spell attacks.
-Unerring Pocket Watch: This device tells you the exact time it is in the current plane you are in. Rain, sleet, or snow, this trusty time keeping device will always be accurate. It lasts for up to 8 hours. Once during this time, you can push the clock forward or back up to one hour. Doing so has no effect on wounds, short rests, healing, things that have already happened, but rather simply changes the time of the area.
-Bar Access: You produce a ticket, allowing you and up to 8 willing creatures to enter into a bar described on the ticket. The bar is inhabited by Fey creatures, including a visible version of the warlock's Patron Pooka. While within they are considered to be in a demi plane, although must adhere to whatever rules that Bar is currently running. As fey creatures, this means whatever rules they have often change, and PCs should be very wary of deals or sayings while dealing with the other fey patrons. The Warlock's patron Pooka will always greet the party with a friendly demeanor unless offended, while other Fey within the bar may be of varying dispositions. The creatures may still up to 8 hours within the demi plane, upon leaving it finding no time has passed outside of it, reappearing where they vanished. Failure to follow the rules of the bar, however, and they are instantly ejected from it, with 1d4 days passing on the outside.
You may use the bag of tricks up to three times, requiring a long rest to regain all charges and to be able to produce any further effects.
In addition, your Mage Hand can lift up to 50 pounds.

Posted Jul 21, 2022Added Bag of Tricks to replace the old effect, as I felt this new one fell in line to more fey trickery and strange magic. Enjoy!
