Base Class: Barbarian
Some people live in rage. Anger to them is like air to anyone else. They take the slings and arrows of the populace and use it to quietly fuel their ambitions. While many turn into brigands and bandits, if the motivation is high enough, rage can be molded into a high functioning asset indeed.
Seethe
When you select this path at 3rd level as a bonus action, you can expend one use of your rages to enter a heighten sense of awareness state known as Seethe. Seething lasts for 10 minutes and while in this state you gain proficiency with Investigation, Insight, Perception, and intimidation. If you're already proficient with any of these skills, you gain expertise while Seething.
While Seething, you can enter rage at any time as a free action, but you lose any proficiency gained. If you enter rage from a Seething state, only the initial rage is consumed. Once you have raged, you cannot enter Seethe again for 1 minute.
Focused Frenzy
At level 6, whenever you use 'Reckless Attack', you can spend your bonus action to reroll the lowest of the two attack dice and use the highest of the two.
Alternatively, when you attack recklessly, you can instead use your bonus action to take the 'Search' or 'Help' action.
Pointed Anger
Beginning at 10th level, when you Seethe and make an ability check you don't have proficiency in, you make that check with advantage.
Unending Seethe
At 14th level, Seethe no longer consumes a Rage, and can be entered at any time you aren't unconscious. Additionally, whenever you are Seething and make an ability check, you can add your rage damage bonus to the roll.
