Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Glory are daring skalds whose tales keep alive the memory of the great heroes of the past, and thereby inspire a new generation of heroes. These bards gather in mead halls or around great bonfires to sing the deeds of the mighty, both past and present. They travel the land to witness great events firsthand and to ensure that the memory of those events doesn’t pass from the world. With their songs, they inspire others to reach the same heights of accomplishment as the heroes of old.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Glory at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with four martial weapons. If you’re proficient with a simple or martial melee weapon, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.

Song Of Glory

At 3rd level, provided that you aren't wearing medium, or heavy armor, and are not wielding a shield, you may use an inspiration die as a bonus action to invoke the Song of Glory. Song of Glory lasts a number of rounds equal to the result of the rolled bardic die (Minimum 2). This effect targets all allies around you within 30 ft when you start the song, including yourself. This effect can not stack.

  • All allies gain a bonus of temporary HP equal to two times your bardic level
  • All allies walking speed increases by 10 feet.

Mantle of Glory

At 6th level, as a bonus action, or as a standard action, or as a reaction, you don the Mantle of Glory in battle. This costs you 1 bardic inspiration die. The mantle remains for 1 minute.

  • You gain an AC bonus equal to half your charisma modifier (rounded down).
  •  When you make an attack with a weapon, you gain a bonus to your damage rolls equal to half of your charisma modifier (rounded down).
  • While both Song of Glory and Mantle of Glory are active on yourself, you can attack twice instead of once with your attack action.

Improved Mantle of Glory

At 14th level your mastery of the Song of Glory has reached a new crescendo. Your Mantle of Glory is improved in the following ways

  • You gain an AC bonus equal to your charisma modifier. (Maximum 4)
  • When you make an attack with a weapon, you gain a bonus to your damage rolls equal to your charisma modifier. (Maximum 4)
  • While both Song of Glory and Mantle of Glory are active on yourself, you can use your reaction to end your Mantle of Glory to confer its AC bonuses using your Charisma to one ally you can see within 60 feet until the start of your next turn.
