Base Class: Druid
On your travels you had a special encounter with one of the mystical Kitsune, Spiritual Nine-tailed Foxes that are able to Shapeshift between their animal and humanoid forms.
The Kitsune gave you some of his powers, which grants you access to the Kitsunes magic and allows you to transform into a Kitsune yourself.
Kitsune Magic
Starting at 2nd Level, gifted with the Blessing of the Kitsune, you are able to transform yourself into a Half-Kitsune, to utilize the Kitsune's magic to the fullest.
As a Bonusaction on your turn, you may use one of your Wildshapes to transform into a Kitsune. Your appearance stays the same as usual, but you temporarily grow Foxears and nine Foxtails.
While transformed, you gain the following Abilities:
- Upon transforming, spectral Foxfire flames surround you and latch onto you until your transformation ends. You summon an amount of flames equal to half your Druid level rounded down.
- As an Action on your turn, you can cause all of your Fox Flames to light up, shedding bright light in a radius of 15ft. and dim light for another 15ft. until you extinuguish the light with another action.
- Each time you affect a creature with a spell in any way, you can choose to transfer one of your flames to that creature. A creature can use an action on its turn, to perform a Sleight of Hand Check contested by your Spell Save DC, to extinguish the flame. A creature that has already been marked by your Fox Fire cannot be marked again until they take a long rest.
- As an action on your turn, you can call any of your distributed Flames back to you.
- Whenever a creature marked by your Foxfire is affected by you with a Spell in any way, you can use your reaction to apply one of the following Spell enhancements:
- You heal the targeted creature by an amount equal to 1d4 + the spell's level.
- You deal force damage to the targeted creature equal to 1d6 + the spell's level.
Your transformation lasts for 10 minutes, or until you fall unconcious or die.
The Kitsune's Gift
As a sign of your friendship with the Kitsune, you gain a little spiritual Fox Companion.
You get the ability to cast the Find Familiar spell at will, without having to spend material components.
However you can only summon a Familiar in the Form of a Fox in this way (See the Fox statblock).
You decide the color, fur patterns and general appearance of the Fox upon summoning.
Flame caller
Starting at 6th Level, as an action on your turn you can call on your flames to return back to you.
Any creature of your choice that is marked by your Fox Fire has to perform a Constitution Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC or take Force Damage for a number of d6 equal to the amount of currently distributed Flames. On a successful save it takes half as much damage instead.
The chosen creatures are no longer marked by your Fox Fire after calling your flames back.
Empowered Fox Fire
Starting at 10th Level, the power of your Fox Fire becomes stronger.
The light shed by your Fox Flames becomes stronger.
-The radius of bright light and dim light both increase to 30ft.
Your Flames become harder to extinguish.
-A creature using its action to extinguish your Fox Flames has to perform the Sleight of Hand check with disadvantage.
Your Spell enhancements are increased
1. You heal the targeted creature for an amount to 2d4 + the Spell's level.
2. You deal force damage to the targeted creature equal to 2d6 + the Spell's level.
Master of the Flame
Starting at 14th Level you are able to unleash the full potential of your Fox Fire.
Once per turn when you cast a spell that forces one or multiple creatures to perform a saving throw, you may choose a single creature marked by your Fox Fire. This creature must perform the saving throw with disadvantage.
