Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids of the Circle of Healing protect both the nature around them and those who traverse it, seeking to promote respect for the natural world.

These druids have sworn an oath to ensure no peoples find themselves with reason to dislike or detest the wild, and seek to provide newcomers who travel through a reason to love and respect the land, to convince civilizations to let nature be. The Circle of Healing promotes peace and harmony between peoples and the wilds from whence they came, but some people need to be prompted to show nature its due respect. Those people are dealt with swiftly and directly, with little room for mercy to those who continue to act against the needs of the land.

Bonus Cantrip

Once you reach second level, you learn the Vitality cantrip.

This cantrip (as detailed below) is homebrew content by the same author as this subclass, and is available on dndbeyond.

Vitality: Evocation Cantrip; Range: 60 feet. Components: V. Duration: Instantaneous.

A creature of your choice that you can see within range regains 1d4 hit points.

This spell's healing increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4) and 17th level (4d4).

Circle Spells

Your inclination towards healing has granted you the ability to cast certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to circle spells as described in the table below

Once you gain access to a circle spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Circle of the Medic Spells
Druid Level Spells

3rd

prayer of healing, aid

5th

mass healing word, beacon of hope

7th

aura of life, death ward

9th

reincarnate, mass cure wounds

Disciple of Healing

Starting at 6th level, your healing spells are more effective. Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore hit points to a creature, the creature regains additional hit points equal to 2 + the spell’s level.

Beginning at 6th level, the healing spells you cast on others heal you as well. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that restores hit points to a creature other than you, you regain hit points equal to 2 + the spell’s level.

Beast Casting

When you reach 10th level, you gain the ability to cast certain spells in beast shape that support your allies.

While in Beast Shape, you can cast spells you have prepared that only target creatures allied to you, with a duration of instantaneous. If casting the spell would cause a reasonable target to become hostile to you, the spell fails. For such spells and only while in Beast Shape, you can ignore the verbal and somatic components, as well as any material components that lack a cost and aren't consumed by the spell.

For example, you could cast greater restoration on a nonhostile target, but not dominate person.

Resurrection Expert

When you reach 14th level, your connection to healing magic has become unrivaled. You can now cast reincarnate at will without the need for material components.
