Base Class: Bard
Your time growing up in a bar or tavern has proved to be more valuable than any college could have. You not only learned numerous skills from patrons that came from all walks of life, but also gained immense knowledge of different beverages and how to make them. This is a bard ‘college’ geared towards those who want to provide entertainment but also a warmth and inspiring aspect to their party.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you take this ‘college’ at 3rd level, you have mastered a set of skills from your time in a bar or tavern. Choose 2 skills from the following options below:
- Perception
- Sleight of hand
- Performance
- Persuasion
- Insight
Bardic Brew
At 3rd level, with all of your background and experience with alcohol you have naturally built up a rather high tolerance. Luckily you have really honed your craft and created a truly remarkable beer. Your bardic inspiration now comes from your Bardic brew. A Bardic Brew can be handed to any creature which may sip the drink as a free action to gain a bardic inspiration. Any creature can instead use a bonus action to drink the entire brew and enter a Drunken Focus.
- As a bonus action you can imbue an alcoholic drink you touch with your bardic magic.
- You can only provide enough bardic brew to fill a number of mugs equal to your charisma modifier per long rest.
- If you give someone the bardic brew it will lose its effectiveness after 10 minutes.
** Bardic inspiration and drunken focus conditions cannot stack and only provide the conditions once per brew.
Drunken Focus
At 3rd level you can now enter a drunken focus when consuming a bardic brew. When you enter a drunken focus all other background noise is lost and you are able to concentrate on current tasks at hand with extra precision.
- When a creature has entered a drunken focus, they receive +2 bonus to AC, ability checks, and saving throws.
- These benefits only effect the creature for for (1 + CON) minutes.
- After the benefits wear off you must roll a CON saving throw to see how intoxicated you have become from the bardic brew.
CON save after 1 Bardic Brew/Hour
- DC18: creature becomes Buzzed
- DC12: creature becomes Drunk
- NAT1: creature Blacks Out
CON save after 2 Bardic Brews/Hour - creature automatically Buzzed
- DC18: creature becomes Drunk
- DC12: creature Blacks Out
Automatic Black Out after drinking a third Bardic Brew/Hour

Magnificent Mead
At 6th level you have really become in tune with your brewing and magical capabilities. When using your brewer's supplies to create a drink, on a DC15 roll you create something exceptional whose elements have come together in an enchanted way.
- Any drinks poured from this batch of Magnificent Mead can be imbued with the Bardic Brew for 1 hour instead of 10 minutes.
- Any humanoid creature that has ingested your Magnificent Mead becomes more susceptible to your arcane abilities. You are able to cast one of the following spells below per short rest.
Master Brewer
At 14th level your brewing talents have become something of perfection. Your Bardic Brew is a drink that really inspires greatness within those that drink it. The bonus received for Drunken Focus has now increased to +4 for AC and all ability checks. Additionally with all your experience working and consuming these beverages, your constitution has become something of legend. You can now pull yourself out of a hangover by consuming another Bardic Brew. After the effects have worn off you must make another DC15 CON save and on a failure take 1d6 poison damage and receive the Black Out condition.
