Bard
Base Class: Bard

When using this subclass, ranged and thrown weapons must definately always be on your mind, as they are the bread and butter of this subclass, as it relies on ranged weapons for most of the features to be able to used, such as empowered shot and your third weapon attack, as those can only be activated when attacking with a ranged weapon.

Extra Proficiencies

When you enter this college at level 3, you gain proficiency with the longbow, heavy crossbow, trident, blowgun, and net.

Empowered Projectile

Starting at level 3, you can use ranged weapons to make opportunity attacks. When deciding when you can or cannot take an opportunity attack, your danger square is considered five feet, or one square, in every direction. As well as attacking a creature within five feet of you with a ranged attack doesn't impose disadvantage. And when you attack with a ranged weapon you may expend a bardic inspiration die to add it to your attack roll and damage, and add one of the following effects to your attack on a hit.
1. Burst of Arrows A flurry of arrows pops out and the arrows shoot in all directions, and each creature within five feet(This includes you) must make a dexterity save with advantage, the dc being 8+ the rolled bardic inspiration die result. On a fail they take the bardic inspiration die result + whatever damage modifier the ranged weapon you attack with to trigger this effect.
2. Pushing Shot A force slams into the opponent and they take damage equal to your dexterity modifier plus your proficiency bonus. Also they make a strength save, the dc being your spell save dc, and on a fail they get knocked back 10 feet.
3. Absorbing Projectile You absorb some of the life force of the creature that you damaged. You gain health equal to the result on the bardic inspiration die mentioned above.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Ranged Weapon Extra Attack(2)

Starting at 14th level, you can attack three times, instead of twice, whenever you take the Attack action with a ranged weapon on your turn.

Continuous Empowered Projectile

Whenever you activate the Empowered Projectile ability, you can choose to use a d6 instead of your bardic inspiration die, and not have to expend one.
