Base Class: Sorcerer

You build a strong relationship with your weapon, as a reward it manifests a blade soul granting you extra power in battle. It also grants you magic to rival those born with it.

Bladed Spells

1st-level Bladed Soul feature

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Bladed Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a evocation or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

Blade Soul

1st-level Blade Soul feature

You bind with a weapon creating a Blade Soul to aid you in battle. You can only be binded with one weapon at a time, upon binding with another weapon the previous weapons soul gets destroyed. 

  • The weapon has (Intelligence 12, Wisdom 14, Charisma 14). It has hearing and normal vision out to a range of 120 feet. It can communicate with you telepathically.
  • Your binded weapon can be used as an arcane focus.
  • While welding the blade you have bonded with you do an extra 1d8 force damage per hit this damage increases to 2d8 at level 10.
  • While welding the blade you have bonded with it becomes a +1 weapon becoming +2 at level 8 and +3 at level 14.
  • While welding the blade you have bonded with it cannot be removed from your person against your will.
  • The blade you have bonded with can be summoned to your hand as long as it's within 30ft of you which becomes 60ft at level 10.

Soul Fighter

1st-level Blade Soul feature

You gain proficiency with light armor, medium armor and martial weapons. You bind with a weapon creating a blade soul with that weapon, you can use your CHA modifier for the attack and damage rolls. At 1st level, your hit point maximum increases by 2 and increases by 2 again whenever you gain a level in this class.

Extra Attack

6th-level Bladed Soul feature

You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one spell of equal level as a third of your sorcerer level rounded down in replace of one of those attacks. This ability can only be used with the weapon you have binded with. 

Soul Creation

14th-level Bladed Soul feature

  • When you make a weapon attack with your binded weapon you can spend 1 sorcery point to do an extra 1d8 damage.
  • As a bonus action, you can spend 3 sorcery points to manifest the soul of your blade to aid you for 1 minute.

Actions

Multi Attack. The Soul can make 2 slash attacks

Slash. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 plus LA to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 plus LA piercing damage.

Soul Mastery

18th-level Bladed Soul feature

You become a master at controlling the soul you have created. Gaining the following benefits based on how many levels you have been binded with the blade soul. 

  • At 9-15 levels, Your weapon gains the affects of the Dancing Sword item.
  • At 16-20 levels, Your weapon gains the affects of the Defender item.
  • At 1-8 levels, Your weapon gains the affects of the Sword of Life Stealing item.
