Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of the Dragon Rider is a solemn commitment to one of two things: To bring destruction or protection. These paladins follow the example of the Twin Draconic Gods that once ruled before the Dragonfall War; Bahamut and Tiamat. Whether they follow the standards of good or evil, these paladins follow their tenets to the extreme, never giving the slightest chance to break them.

Tenets of the Dragon:

-Draconic Protector. Duty and responsibility to protect all dragon kind.

-Eternal Companionship. Lay down your life for your Companion, and it shall do the same for you.

-Two Bodies, One Soul. You and your Dragon Companion may share different bodies, but you are a single force in battle.

-Power of the Dragonkin. Dragons are known for their wrath in combat, with their stories striking fear and awe. Be one of these tales and show your enemies the true meaning of power.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Channeled Breath. As an action, you may make all creatures in a 5' by 30' line in front of you make a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d8 + [Paladin Level] radiant damage or half on a success.

Wing Attack. As a bonus action, you command your Dragon Companion to beat its wings. Each creature within 10ft of it must succeed on a Dexterity Saving Throw or take 2d6 + [Paladin Level] bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
