Base Class: Blood Hunter (archived)
Reavers are warrior who have unlocked a new level of control over their bodies. They command this untapped energy from deep within blood and bone. The Reaver path however is a double edge sword. The Reaver specialization trades pain for strength, by channeling their own life force into raw power and stealing the life from their foes. Reavers terrorize their enemies, feast upon the souls of their opponents and become more powerful as they begin to die. It is not so easy, however, to learn this gift, as it comes from the ritually prepared blood of a dragon.
Rite of the Frenzied
When you join this order at 3rd level, you learn the esoteric rite Rite of the Frenzied (detailed below).
Rite of the Frenzied. Your rite damage is associated with the type of dragon's blood you ingested. When activation this rite, you can affect two weapons immediatly instead of one by taking twice the damage.
When you amplify a use of your Blood Maledict feature while using this rite, you can use your reaction to make one melee weapon attack.

Devour
Beginning at 7th level, your control over blood allows you to reinvigorate yourself with the essence of your enemies. As the extra attack during your Attack action, you can make a special unarmed attack against a creature. You are proficient with this attack, which deals damage equals to twice your Crimson Rite die + your Constitution modifier, and you gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Dragon Rage
Upon reaching 11th level, you've learned to channel the strength of the dragon, enabling dealy and savage strikes. When you use the Attack action with a weapon infused with your Rite of the Frenzied, you can expand a use of this feature to have spectral claws spawn from your weapon to strike at the enemy. Until the start of your next turn, you gain +1 to your Armor Class and your attacks deal a bonus 1d10 plus your Constitution modifier damage. Similarily to your Blood Curses, you can choose to amplify this feature to instead deal 2d6 plus your Constitution modifier bonus damage on attacks.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Scenting Blood
Being near a badly wounded enemy spurs you into a frenzy, driving you to move faster. You can use a bonus action on your turn to use the Dash action as long as you end your turn closer to an enemy than you were before.
Terrifying Fury
Your critical strikes have a chance to cause a gory mess and send nearby enemies fleeing in a panic. Whenever you have your Rite of the Frenzied active on a weapon, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. Also, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points or score a critical strike, creature you designate within 20 feet that can see or hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. A creature that succeeds on this saving throw or has already suffered its effect cannot be affected by it again for 24 hours.
