Oath Of Sacrifice

The battlefield. full of chaos, violence, and destruction. all in the hopes of a single victory. however, most battles cannot be achieved without a sacrifice. you, the willing combatant that you are, have taken it upon yourself to make that sacrifice, for your better tomorrow.

 Tenents of Sacrifice:

- A Better Tomorrow: You fight for a better tomorrow. and will sacrifice whatever will be needed to reach your better tomorrow.

- The Greater good: In order for there to be a better tomorrow, there has to BE a tomorrow. if necessary you are willing to sacrifice yourself for the greater good. even if it means your own death.

- Needless death: To die without purpose, without reaching your tomorrow, or to further that goal. is the greatest shame you can befall.

- Above All else: Remember the Sacrifices made to reach your better tomorrow

Oath of Sacrifice paladin's belong to no alignment, as your "Better tomorrow" is whatever you believe it to be

Once per long rest, as an action, you can choose a number of willing creatures equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of one) within 30 feet of you. Each chosen creature gains temporary hit points equal to your Paladin level plus your Constitution modifier. However, you suffer damage equal to twice the total temporary hit points granted by this ability.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Avatar of Sacrifice

20th-level Oath of Sacrifice feature

you can become an embodiment of self-sacrifice for a short time. As an action, you can assume the form of an Avatar of Sacrifice for 1 minute. During this time, you gain the following benefits:

  • You gain resistance to all damage types.
  • Once on each of your turns when you make a weapon attack and miss, you can sacrifice 2d6 of your own health, and cause that attack to hit instead.
  • Whenever you take damage, each friendly creature of your choice within 30 feet of you gains temporary hit points equal to half the damage taken.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a 5th-level spell slot to use it again.
