Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

You are a Leper, a courageous soul who knows that in the end, their illness very well may claim them. But you fight on in spite of how much it hurts.

Afflicted Area

Choose from three different areas of your body. This area will be where your leprosy is worst, and will give you a downside, but also a powerful upside.

Afflicted Eyes: You are effectively blind. However, you gain the Blind Fighting fighting style as well as Tremorsense up to 60ft away.

Afflicted Body: You lose 2 AC. However, you are now resistant to necrotic and poison damage.

Afflicted Legs: Your walking speed is decreased by 10ft. However, difficult terrain never slows you down, and when you’re knocked prone, you can get up as a Reaction. If you are ever moved against your will, you can reduce the distance by half.

Leper Rage

Your Rage becomes Leper Rage. You retain physical damage resistances. For the duration of the Rage, Reckless Attack becomes Blind Strike. You always roll the attack at Disadvantage, but if you hit, you roll twice the normal weapon damage dice and can add your STR or DEX modifier to the damage twice. Additionally, for the duration of the Rage, you gain a bonus based on which Afflicted Area you chose.

Afflicted Eyes: When rolling accuracy for Blind Strike, you may reroll one of the D20s once per Blind Strike.

Afflicted Body: You gain resistance to poison and fire damage.

Afflicted Legs: When moving through terrain that would normally damage you, (fire terrain, acid, thorns) you take no damage.

Display of Infection

You gain brass bells and a mask. These items grant you new powers.

Brass Bells: Once per short rest, you can ring the bells as a Bonus Action to force all enemies within 30ft to make a DC (8 + double your proficiency bonus) Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they are Frightened of you for 2 rounds. On a successful save, they take 2d6 psychic damage.

Mask: While Leper Raging, you can add your Constitution modifier to Blind Strike accuracy rolls.

Worsening Condition

Leprosy is an insidious disease. It claims 2 of your max HP for every Barbarian level you take. However, it grants you some upsides too.

Your nerves have become so damaged that pain hardly affects you. Whenever you take damage you are resistant to, you can further decrease that damage by your Constitution modifier.

Additionally, for every 20 max HP claimed by Leprosy, you gain one ability score point to allocate however you wish, even over the cap of 20.

Decaying Warrior

Buffs to your Afflicted Area.

Afflicted Eyes: Your Blindsense and Tremorsense ranges are doubled. When rolling damage for Blind Strike, you can add your Constitution modifier to the damage.

Afflicted Body: You become resistant to all damage types except for Force, Psychic, Thunder, and Radiant damage while Leper Raging. You also become immune to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage while Leper Raging.

Afflicted Legs: You can not be knocked prone. You can not slip on terrain like ice or grease. Your movement speed increases by 10ft.

Harness Illness

Your Afflicted Area grants you a bonus.

Afflicted Eyes: Once per Short Rest, you can roll a Blind Strike without Disadvantage. You can never roll this attack with Advantage.

Afflicted Body: When you complete a Long Rest, you can choose a damage type from Radiant, Thunder, and Psychic. You become Resistant to this damage type. You can change this damage type every Long Rest.

Afflicted Legs: Twice per short rest, you can take the Dash action as a Bonus Action.
