Base Class: Sorcerer
Cursed Speech Sorcerers are often very charismatic and eclectic people. They belong to an ancient bloodline of sorcerers who mastered the ability to manifest their spells by speech alone. This capability is carried down to each member of their bloodline. A bloodline that is ancient and secluded.
Cursed Speech
1st-level Cursed Speech feature
You belong to a clan of sorcerers who mastered the art of manipulation. Your bloodline is ancient, and your kind are not often seen in Faerûn.
You can cast spells without using Somatic or Material components, so long as the material component does not show a cost.
You become proficient in Persuasion and Deception
You also gain access to the following spells:

Compulsion
1st-level Cursed Speech feature
The people and creatures of Faerûn are full of compulsive ideas and desires just outside of their reach. You know how to channel this to your advantage.
You know the spell Command and may cast it at will.
Choose a speech based skill you are an expert in.
Deception
People only know what truths you want them to know.
Persuasion
You don't always have to command others, sometimes you ask them first.
Compelling Voice
6th-level Cursed Speech feature
You can now give commands to the undead, automatons, and other creatures that do not speak your language.
You gain the ability to use Command on your allies:
As an action, you may command an ally to make 1 melee attack, a battle maneuver, or cast 1 single target spell at a enemy of your choice. This does not cost an action for the ally commanded. You may only influence one ally this way per turn.
As a reaction, you may command an ally to defend themselves giving them a +2 bonus to AC until your next turn. You may only influence one ally this way per turn.
Allies may willingly fail the WIS save.
Temporal Command
14th-level Cursed Speech feature
Your control of cursed speech transcends reality. You command the very fabric of reality around you, giving you and your allies a momentary edge over your opponents.
As an action, you issue a COMMAND to every ally and enemy within 60ft.
If a ally fails the WIS save, they gain an extra action to use on their respective turn. Otherwise no effect.
If an enemy Fails the WIS save, Allies gain advantage on the first attack on that creature. If an enemy saves, no effect.
You and your allies do not provoke attacks of opportunity until your next turn.
Allies may willingly fail the WIS save.
Once per Long Rest.
Lethal Command
18th-level Cursed Speech feature
You utter a COMMAND of power that can compel one creature you can see within range to die instantly.
If the creature you choose has 100 hit points or fewer and it fails its WIS save, it dies.
Otherwise, the spell has no effect.
You may target more than 1 creature by spending 1 sorcery point per extra creature.
Once per Long Rest.

Posted Jun 14, 2026Thanks for the comment. I designed this subclass based on Toge Inumaki from JJK. Due to lack of character creation experience, I sometimes make something for myself without accounting for the ways other people will try to break them.

Posted Jun 12, 2026A player wanted to use this though it seemed a little bit unbalanced to me. If any one else wants to use this version, here it is:
Compulsion
1st-level Cursed Speech feature
You know the spell Command and may cast it 2 times per short rest without spending a spell slot or material components.
Compelling Voice
6th-level Cursed Speech feature
You're now able to give commands directly harmful to the creature, now only requiring them to fail by five points or more to do so.
You gain the ability to use Command on your allies:
As an action, you may cast the Command on an ally, (if willing) having him/her make either 1 melee attack, or cast 1 cantrip on their spell list at an enemy of your choice. This costs no actions from the affected ally, only the Cursed Speech user. This ability may be used once a long rest.
Un-willing creatures must succeed on a Charisma Saving Throw (creatures with advantage to avoid the charmed condition gain it under this circumstance) equal to 8 + Your Spell Casting Modifier + Proficiency Bonus
Lethal Command
18th-level Cursed Speech feature
You gain the ability to cast Power Word Kill once per long rest. You are able to spend one sorcery point to an extra creature affected by the spell, capping at 3 affected creatures.
