Base Class: Rogue
Many rogues prefer finesse and caution when performing their craft, preferring to treat it as an art style, but there are a select few who take a more direct approach to burglary and assassination. While these particular hooligans are seen as unrefined by other rogues, they usually describe themselves as being more effective. Rogues who tread the path of the ruffian use brute force and intimidating prowess when thieving, leaving blazing fires and grandiose destruction in their path as they loot anything unfortunate enough to cross them.
Brutish Outlaw
At 3rd level, you have learned how to use underhanded tactics to deal vicious blows with any weapon. You gain proficiency in the use of battleaxes, greataxes, and mauls if you don’t already have it. You may also use any of those weapons while performing your sneak attack.
Direct and to the Point
At 3rd level, you know how to get your way by any means necessary. You gain proficiency in the Athletics and Intimidation skills if you don’t already have it. You also gain expertise in those skills, which means your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with it. Those skills cannot already be benefitting from another feature, such as Expertise, that doubles your proficiency bonus in order to receive this benefit.
Fearsome Bellow
At 9th level, you become capable of unleashing a guttural bellow that strikes fear into your foes. As a bonus action, you can roar, causing all creatures of your choice who can hear you within 10 feet to make a Charisma saving throw. The DC for this saving throw is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. On a failed save, a target becomes stunned until the end of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
One for the Road
At 13th level, you really don’t like it when people turn their back on you in a fight. When you make an opportunity attack, you can add your Constitution modifier to the attack and damage rolls. Then, if the opportunity attack succeeds, all attack rolls made against that creature have advantage until the end of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your constitution modifier. You regain all expended uses after you finish a short or long rest.
Eye for an Eye
At 17th level, you can take the hits well, and dish them out even better. When you are hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to half of your constitution score. Then, increase the damage you deal with your next sneak attack by half the amount of damage you take from the triggering attack. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Posted Aug 21, 2024As this is my first published subclass, I don't know for certain if the features function properly on the character sheet screen. If you have issues, let me know and I'll see if I can manage to fix them in an updated version.
