Base Class: Cleric

The Ale domain is a domain that is supported by the Priesthood of Cayden Cayleen, also known as the "Grain & Hops Master" or "The Drunk One". The deity preaches freedom, enjoyment of the simple pleasures of life, love and drinking. Additionally Cayden is a supporter of farmers, especially the ones that grow grain, hops, berries, grapes and various other ingredients that can be used in the creation of various alcoholic beverages, mainly ale.

The Priesthood includes normal everyday people like pub and tavern owners, people working in the hospitality sector, bards, travelling merchants and adventurers. There is no formal specific hierarchy within the Priesthood and no formal holidays, however whenever there are any holidays that include drinking and song, it is very likely that one or more followers of Cayden will be found.

Cayden Cayleen, is an ally of both the Wildmother and the Moonweaver, while is suspicious of the Stormlord and the Matron of Ravens. He is against most Betrayer deities, and in particular the Chained Oblivion, and the Scaled Tyrant.

 

Provoke

Cause a humanoid to attack you by provoking them. If they lose their WIS saving throw they must attack you with a disadvantage.

Channel Divinity: Blessed Brew

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to bless a jug of ale; the number of doses equals 3 + your Wisdom modifier. Anyone who drinks one dose of this brew can receive the following benefits: a +1 bonus to all Saving Throws and heal for 2d6+6. This bonus lasts for 1 hour, leaving a warm buzz behind when it fades. A creature can benefit from only one dose of blessed brew between rests. An hour after creating blessed brew, the liquid turns into tasty, but mundane, beer.

Channel Divinity: Boot and Rally

Starting at 6th level, you can use your Channel Divinity to aid and rally your allies. All friendly creatures within 30 feet of you hear your words of encouragement and receive +2 to all attacks (melee, ranged, spellcasting) and +2 to AC for physical attacks. The effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to the caster level/2 + the Wisdom modifier.

Ironskin Brew

At 8th level the Cleric creates a blessed Ironskin Brew  and receives the ability to shrug off incoming damage that is received from damage attacks and spells. By drinking a small sip of the Blessed Ironskin Brew the Cleric will stop 30% of the incoming damage for a full round.

The effect can be used up to a number of times per day equal to the Wisdom modifier of the Cleric. The Ironskin Brew loses it's potency after two hours.

Revivifying Mist Brew

At 17th level the Cleric creates the ultimate healing brew. Once the brew is consumed the recipient will receive 8d8+8 hit points and an additional 1d8 + 8 per round for a number of rounds equal to the Wisdom modifier of the Cleric.

1 bonus action.

The Cleric can use that ability 3 times per day, the brews lose their potency after two hours.
