Imperial Knight

Standing at the side of Kings, Emperors and Imperators, Imperial Knights are the last line of defence. The shield of whole country´s and the elite of the elite.
This stout defenders train und perfect their martial prowess tirelessly as the blade and shield of their leader, country and people. To be a chosen to become an Imperial Knight is a great honour. And it is very rare that Imperial Knights leave their position for other reasons than age or death.

Phalanx

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, if you wear a shield and are in 5 feet of another ally that also wears a shield you get advantage on your skillchecks and saves if the enemy tries to push you away or knock you prown.

To the King

Starting at 7th level, you can use your reaction if an ally is attacked by an enemy to move up to your movementspeed to said ally without provoking opportunity attacks and impose disadvantage on the attackroll. You must be able to end your movement in 5ft from this ally.

You can use this feature 2 times and regain it if you finish a short or long rest.

Expertise

At 10th level, you can choose two of your skill proficiencies. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of the chosen proficiencies.

Unconquerable Fortress

At level 15 you can focus purely on defense and use your action to brace yourself against Enemy attacks. Your AC increases by 1 point for each attack you could have done with the Action. This effect lasts till the start of your next turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution Modifier and regain it after taking a long rest.

Last stand

At 18th level, you can endure pain over the degree that should be humanly possible. If you reach 0 Hitpoints you survive with one and heal up to half of your maximum Hitpoints.

This feature can not be used again until you finish a long rest.
