Base Class: Wizard

An Arcane Engineer Wizard spends most of their time tinkering with various magical items, vessels and artifacts. They study with the sole purpose of ensure that something once built is running at the peak of it performance for the unforeseen future. While not as adept at this as the artificer, the arcane engineer does the best it can to be the middle man or mechanic to an artificers inventor.

Improved Mending

  • You learn the mending cantrip if you don’t already have it.
  • Your mending cantrip is much more potent. It can repair a single break in a 3 foot area, or any number of smaller breaks in the area. The time to cast mending is reduced to one action if it is used on nonmagical material

Metallurgist

  • As a bonus action, choose a nonmagical weapon or piece of armor within 60 feet of you that you can see and expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher. The chosen weapon or armor becomes magical with a bonus equal to the level of the spell slot expended. You must concentrate on maintaining this magic as if on a spell, for up to 1 minute.

Arcane Transfer

  • You may use your reaction to expend a spell slot to restore charges to a magical item that you can see within 30 feet of you. Roll the normal recharge dice for that item and restore that many charges. If the item does not normally recharge, restore all of its charges.
    •  1st Level: Common
    •  3rd Level: Uncommon
    •  5th Level: Rare
    •  7th Level: Very Rare
    •  9th Level: Legendary

Mechanical Opus

  • You may target or include structures and vehicles with spells that normally could only target or include creatures.
