Base Class: Barbarian
You’re a toddler, but also a demigod. You cry a lot.
Level 1 – Divine Infantile Nature
God-Spawned Baby
You must choose this path at 1st level, not 3rd. You’re literally a baby. There’s no pretending otherwise.
-
You have disadvantage on saving throws against being frightened and charmed. You're a baby. This is reset to neutral when raging.
-
You constantly hover 5 feet above the ground. This doesn't grant flight speed but means you ignore difficult terrain and can reach adult-height objects without help.
-
You can’t wield normal weapons. Your attacks are baby punches imbued with divine might. Your unarmed strikes deal 1d8 + Strength modifier radiant damage.
Level 3 – Tantrum
Baby Rage
You don’t control your rage. It controls you.
-
When you take damage, flip a coin. On heads, you enter a Tantrum (counts as rage).
-
At the start of each of your turns while not raging, flip a coin. On heads, you enter a Tantrum.
-
While in a Tantrum, you gain resistance to radiant and psychic damage (not your fault your divine brain is overwhelmed).
Screaming
-
At the end of each of your turns while in a Tantrum, you let out a soul-piercing wail. All creatures within 10 feet of you take:
-
1d4 thunder damage, and
-
1d4 psychic damage
(no save – you’re just that annoying)
-
Level 6 – Play Tag
Once per short rest, you can initiate Tag as a bonus action:
-
You yell, “I’m it!” and immediately make a melee attack (unarmed) against a creature within range.
-
On a hit, the target takes your normal unarmed damage plus an extra 2d6 psychic damage — you just tagged them and it’s deeply upsetting to be caught by a literal toddler.
-
You may then shout “You’re it!” and move up to half your movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Tag Mechanics:
-
If the tagged creature hits you with a melee attack, you become “It” again.
-
If the creature deals damage to you in any other way, you may yell “That’s unfair!” as a reaction to halve the damage taken.
Level 10 – Hide and Seek
As an action, you can cover your eyes with your hands and yell “You can’t see me!”
-
You are blinded while doing this (your eyes are covered, obviously).
-
While your eyes are covered, you are also invisible until you uncover them or take any action other than movement.
Level 14 – Cry for Mommy
As an action, you may dramatically collapse to the ground, wailing softly for divine help.
-
You fall prone and begin crying with heartbreaking intensity.
-
All creatures that can hear you within 120 feet must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be charmed by you until they take damage.
-
Creatures charmed this way are overcome with guilt, pity, or divine awe. They can’t attack you or target you with harmful effects until the charm ends.
- Creatures that have or had children in their life, automatically fail their saving throw and ignore their charm immunity.
