Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

For most barbarians, rage comes as a form of aggression, a means to destroy whatever threat stands in their way. Barbarians who follow the Path of Vitalblood wish instead to use their rage as a means of focus an defense. A barbarian who follows this path knows how to keep themselves alive, and their teammates alive. Using their rage to not only prevent harm, but heal it.

Level 3: Medical Initiate

You gain proficiency in the Medicine skill and with the Herbalism Kit, you also gain a bonus to any Medicine checks you make equal to your Constitution modifier. Additionally, whenever you stabilize or grant a creature hit points, your rage duration extends as though you took damage.

Finally, you can take the Help and Utilize actions as bonus actions.

Level 3: Life Surge

When you enter rage, you and all creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you gain hit points equal to two rolls of your Hit Die + your Constitution modifier. When hit points this feature grants would go past a creature’s hit point maximum, they are granted to it as temporary hit points; these are lost at the end of the creature’s next turn.

Additionally while raging you also have resistance to Radiant and Necrotic damage.

Level 3: Vitality Overflow

Much like a paladin you radiate an imperceptible aura within a 15-foot emanation originating from you. All creatures of your choice within this aura gain bonus hit points equal to your Constitution modifier whenever they gain hit points.

Level 6: Weaver of Life

When a friendly creature you can see within 30 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you can move up to your speed towards them in a straight line as a reaction. Whenever you apply your rage damage bonus to a damage roll you can choose for a creature within 30 feet of you to regain hit points equal to your rage damage bonus.

Level 10: Positively Charged

While raging, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier at the beginning of each of your turns; while you are bloodied, you gain hit points instead. If any hit points you gain while raging would cause you to no longer be Bloodied, you regenerate any missing body parts.

Additionally, if a spell, such as raise dead, has the sole effect of restoring you to life (but not undeath), the caster doesn’t need material components to cast the spell on you.

Level 14: Virtue of Health

You and all creatures of your choice within your Vitality Overflow aura gain a bonus to Constitution saving throws equal to your Constitution modifier. Additionally, whenever a creature within your aura takes damage you can halve the damage it takes and take damage equal to the halved amount.
