Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You have sworn yourself to your patron, an ancient lich-king, skeleton emperor, or sovereign of the dead whose reign has outlasted empires. This patron does not demand blind worship, but tribute. Souls of the worthy, the powerful, and the defiant.

Unlike other warlocks, you are not rewarded for slaughtering the weak. Your patron hungers for specific souls, champions, monsters, leaders, and those who believed themselves beyond mortality. In exchange, the pact grants you dominion over stolen souls, spectral servants, and the authority of undeath.

Soul Points

You harvest and store fragments of mortal essence called Soul Points (SP).

  • You gain 1 Soul Point when a creature you contributed to killing dies.

  • You can store a maximum number of Soul Points equal to your Charisma modifier + your Proficiency Bonus.

  • All Soul Points are lost when you finish a Long Rest, as your patron demands regular tribute.

You can spend soul points in a number of ways:

Soulbound Weapon

As a bonus action, you may spend up to 3 Soul Points to empower a weapon you are wielding for 1 minute:

  • Gain +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls per Soul Point spent

  • The weapon counts as magical

  • The effect ends early if you are incapacitated

Soul Burn

You learn the Soul Burn spell, which does not count against your spells known.

As a bonus action, you may summon a bound undead servant by spending 1–3 Soul Points.

  • HP = 1

  • The servant cannot attack or grapple

  • It takes the Dodge action unless commanded

You may have only one Spectral Servant at a time at this level.

Additionally, when the marked creature dies,  you gain temporary hit points equal to (Soul Points gained × 3). You gain the remaining Soul Points normally.

You can use this feature once per long rest.

Level 10: Undying Servitude

Refuse Death

When a servant would drop to 0 HP, you may spend 1 Soul Point to leave it at 1 HP instead.
Each servant can benefit from this feature only once.

Level 14: Soul of Ruin

As an action, you may release any number of your active servants, destroying them instantly.

For each servant released:

Creatures within a 10-foot radius of a servant must make a Wisdom saving throw, on a failure, target takes 1d6 necrotic damage per Soul Point spent on that servant and becomes frightened of you until the end of their next turn, on a success: half damage, no frightened condition

You regain hit points equal to (Soul Points spent × 4) for each servant released.
