Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Wizards who follow the School of the Arsenal study a rare discipline of conjuration magic that shapes raw arcane force into precise, functional constructs. These mages treat the battlefield as a workshop, assembling momentary armaments from pure will and mythic intent. Though their creations resemble weapons, they are not technological devices; they are manifestations of arcane geometry, cultural symbolism, and disciplined craftsmanship.

Level 2: Arsenal Savant

The gold and time you must spend to copy a spell tagged with (Arsenal) into your spellbook is halved.
In addition, when you cast a spell that conjures, launches, or manipulates a magical construct, you can draw or stow a weapon or spellcasting focus as part of the same action used to cast the spell.

Level 2: Conjurer’s Stance

Your training emphasizes stability and awareness when shaping force into physical form.
When you cast a spell with the (Arsenal) tag, you gain a +2 bonus to AC against the next attack made against you before the start of your next turn.
If that attack misses you, you can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

Level 6: Arcane Kevlar

You weave thin layers of reinforced arcane force across your body, granting protection similar to ballistic fabric.
You gain the following benefits:

  • The first time you take nonmagical piercing damage on each of your turns, you have resistance to that damage.
  • You have advantage on Constitution saving throws you make to maintain concentration on spells with the (Arsenal) tag.

Level 10: Arsenal Anchor

You can stabilize one of your conjured armaments, allowing it to hover and function without occupying your hands.

When you cast a spell with the (Arsenal) tag, you can choose one conjured weapon or construct created by that spell to become anchored. An anchored object hovers adjacent to you and moves with you for the spell’s duration. You do not need a free hand to wield or use an anchored object.

You can have only one anchored object at a time. If you anchor a new one, the previous anchor dissipates.

Level 14: Arsenal Bulwark

Your anchored conjurations and battlefield posture allow you to control incoming fire and maintain perfect stability when taking a prone firing position.

Projectile Intercept

When you or a creature you can see within 30 feet is targeted by a ranged weapon attack, you can use your reaction to command your anchored object to intercept the projectile. The attack roll is made with disadvantage.
You can use this feature only once per round.

Prone Marksman

Whilst prone you maintain concentration on Spells, and can take ranged attacks. While you are prone, you gain the following benefits and limitations:

  • You have advantage on ranged attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.
  • You cannot target creatures within 10 feet of you with ranged weapon attacks.
  • Standing up does not end your concentration on any spell you maintained while prone.
