Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of Blood is taken by those that wish to use the darker side of the divine for the greater good.

Tenets of Blood

The tenets of the Oath of Blood revolve around the paladin cleansing bad blood to protect the good.
Protecting the Righteous Blood. I strive to prevent any unnecessary blood from being drawn.
Purging the Evil Blood.
Those that possess corrupt blood must be defeated, and those that corrupt others' blood I show no mercy.
Cleansing the Split Blood.
I heal and close the wounds of my allies, even if it means sacrificing my own blood to do it.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Crimson Aegis. As a bonus action, you can bolster the blood of one ally you can see within 30 feet of you, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute thereafter, whenever that creature ends its turn within 10 feet of you, it can regain hit points equal to your charisma modifier, as long as they are on the same plane as you.
At 18th level, the range of this feature increases to 30 feet, and you can target up to 2 allies.

Blood Boil. As an action, you raise your holy symbol and corrupt the blood of evil creatures, using your Channel Divinity. Each creature of your choice that has blood within 30 feet of you must make a constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is inflicted with bleeding for 1 minute, and takes 2d6 blood damage at the start of each of its turns. A creature can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Scarlet Sense

Beginning at 15th level, your attunement to blood has made you more aware of the beating hearts around you. You have blindsight within the range of your Aura of Intention. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you. You lose this blindsight if you are deafened.

In addition, when a creature regains hit points within your blindsight range, a number of other creatures up to your charisma modifier of your choice within the range regain hit points equal to twice your proficiency bonus. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Plasma Champion

At 20th level, you've learned how to enhance your Lay on Hands with the power of your blood. You gain the following benefits:

  • Your Lay on Hands pool is doubled, now equal to to 10 times your Paladin level.
  • When a hostile creature within 30 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you regain 5 hit points of your Lay on Hands pool.
  • When you expend 5 hit points from your pool to cure the poisoned condition, you can choose to cure the target of an additional effect. Choose one of: charmed, frightened, blinded, deafened, stunned, or paralyzed.
  • Restoring hit points from your class features, spells you cast, or your abilities cannot be prevented in any way.
