Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Primary Stats:

  • Dexterity – for attacks and AC.

  • Intelligence – for spellcasting and class features.

Spellcasting:

  • Maximum spell level: 3rd (like a Warlock or Eldritch Knight).

  • Spellcasting ability: Intelligence.

  • Uses Fighter Spell Slots, gained gradually like Eldritch Knight: low-level arcane utility and combat spells.

Level 3: Arcane Duelist Training

 

  • Spellcasting: You learn a limited number of wizard spells. You have 3 1st-level spell slots, gaining more as you level (see below).

  • Spell List: Wizard/Artificer spell list 

  • Weapon Bond: You can bond with one weapon you touch. While bonded, you can summon it to your hand as a bonus action.

  • Dexterity & Intelligence Synergy: When you cast a spell that requires an attack roll, you may add your Dexterity modifier instead of Intelligence once per turn.

Level 7: Quick Study

  • You gain the ability to use your reaction to add Intelligence modifier to AC or a saving throw against one attack or spell per short rest.

  • Can cast a cantrip you know as a bonus action once per turn.

Level 10: Arcane Footwork

 

  • When you move at least 10 feet in combat, you gain a bonus to AC equal to your Intelligence modifier until the start of your next turn (once per short rest).

  • This emphasizes the Dex + Int mobility combat style.

 

Level 15: Spellstrike

 

  • When you hit with a weapon attack, you may expend a spell slot to deal extra damage equal to 1d8 per level of the spell slot.

  • Can combine Dexterity weapon attacks with spell effects, making you a hybrid caster/striker.

 

Level 18: Duelist’s Mastery

 

  • You gain Spell Resistance: advantage on saving throws against spells you can see.

  • Once per long rest, you may cast any 3rd-level spell you know without expending a slot.
