Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of this tradition master the art of fractured presence, turning discipline and motion into living reflections. Through relentless training and heightened awareness, they split their image into shifting duplicates that blur the line between reality and illusion.

On the battlefield, a Warrior of the Mirror is never where they seem to be. Each strike echoes through mirrored selves, and foes who strike in haste often find only empty space, or their own reflection.

To fight one is to confront many.

Level 3: Mirror Self

Whenever you expend 1 Focus Point to use Flurry of Blows, Patient Defense, or Step of the Wind, you create one illusory duplicate that functions as described in the Mirror Image spell.

You can have up to three duplicates at the same time. When you create a new duplicate, the duration of all duplicates becomes 1 minute.

• For each duplicate you currently have, your Unarmed Strikes deal +1 extra force damage.

• Whenever you roll a 6 on a d6 rolled to determine whether a duplicate is hit instead of you, that duplicate is destroyed and you regain 1 Focus Point.

Level 6: Mirror Adept

You can now have up to four illusory duplicates at the same time.

While you have duplicates, you gain a +1 bonus to AC for every two duplicates you currently have.

Level 11: Mirror Assault

When you make an Unarmed Strike, you can use the same attack roll to target one additional creature within your reach for each duplicate you currently have. Each target must be a different creature.

• On a hit, the attack deals the same damage roll to each creature hit.

In addition, your Unarmed Strike scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 if you have one duplicate, 18–20 if you have two, 17–20 if you have three, and 16–20 if you have four.

• Whenever you choose to treat a roll other than a 20 as a critical hit using this feature, one of your duplicates is immediately destroyed.

Level 17: Mirror Maze

As an Action, you can expend 4 Focus Points to cast Maze. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

While a creature is trapped in this Maze, whenever it fails the DC 20 Intelligence (Investigation) check to escape, it believes it has found a way out, only to collide with a mirrored surface and be struck by its own reflection. The reflection automatically hits the creature, dealing force damage equal to the damage of one of its attacks.

• If the creature falls unconscious while inside the Maze, the spell does not automatically end, and the creature remains trapped until the duration expires. You know whether the creature becomes unconscious while trapped in this way.
