Monk
Base Class: Monk

Warriors of the Moon walk the line between serenity and feral instinct. Their monasteries—usually isolated among towering pines or perched on lonely cliff peaks—teach a discipline that joins focus, breath, and lunar energy to reshape the curse of lycanthropy into a sacred art.

Through intense meditation and lunar rites, these monks can assume the shape of a moon-weredog, a form that blends the predatory strength of a wolf with the radiant spirit of a celestial hound.

Level 3: Moon Sentinel

Your training sharpens your senses. You gain proficiency in the Survival and Perception skills.
If you are already proficient in either one, you can choose a different skill from the monk’s 1st-level skill list.

Moon-Weredog Transformation

You can channel lunar energy into your body. As a bonus action, you may spend 1 Focus Point to shift into your moon-weredog form for up to 1 hour.
If you stand beneath natural moonlight, the change requires no Focus Point.

Your equipment does not alter with you. You may end the change at any moment, and it ends early if you fall unconscious or die.

While in this form, you gain the following benefits:

Obsidian-Black Eyes. You gain darkvision out to 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, its range increases by 30 feet.

Tongue of the Moon. You can speak normally and can communicate telepathically with any creature within 50 feet that understands at least one language.

Silver Fangs. Whenever you make an Unarmed Strike, you can choose for it to deal bludgeoning, slashing, or piercing damage.
Additionally, the first Unarmed Strike you make on your turn deals an extra 1d4 damage of the same type.

Level 6: Silver Wrath

Your mastery of the transformation deepens.
The bonus damage from Silver Fangs now applies to the first two Unarmed Strikes you make on your turn.
For each of those attacks that hits, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC until the start of your next turn.

Level 11: Moon Warden

While in moon-weredog form, you can expend 1 Focus Point to cast one of the following spells without material components: Hunter's Mark, Detect Evil and Good, Detect Poison and Disease, Locate Animals or Plants, Detect Magic, and Find Traps.
The effects of these spells last only while you remain transformed.

Level 17: Chosen of the Moon

Your bond with lunar power reaches its peak, granting the following abilities:

Moon Wrath. You enhance your Silver Wrath feature. The extra damage from Silver Fangs now applies to the first three Unarmed Strikes you make on your turn. For each of those attacks that hits, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC until the start of your next turn.

Moon Heart. If you complete a long rest while meditating under moonlight in an open night sky, your moon-weredog transformations require no Focus Points for the next 24 hours.

Moon Soul. Once per long restwhile transformed, you may spend 2 Focus Points to cast Dispel Evil and Good without providing material components and without requiring concentration.
