Base Class: Ranger
A Wilderness Stalker uses their Spectral Boomerangs and natural resilience to strike foes while hiding in nature.
Level 3: Wild Endurance
Your experience in the wild has made you build up an immunity to Poison damage and the Poisoned condition. Additionally, you have resistance to Piercing, Slashing and Bludgeoning damage from Beasts.
Level 3: Spectral Boomerang
As a Bonus Action, you can create a Spectral Boomerang in your hand, which can be used as both a melee weapon and a ranged weapon (60ft). The boomerang does 2d10 force damage (2d12 if the target is affected by Hunters Mark), increasing by 1d10(/1d12) at levels 5, 9, 13 and 17. When hitting an enemy with the Spectral Boomerang, choose one of these options.
Singular Strike. The Spectral Boomerang uses all it's damage on the target, and then returns to your hand.
Ricochet. The Spectral Boomerang only does 1d10, but bounces and damage another enemy (can bounce to a maximum equal to your Proficiency Bonus) by 1d10, continuing until it has hit the Ricochet Limit. After it's final bounce, the Spectral Boomerang returns to your hand.
Level 7: Nature Strider
You gain a base speed of 35ft, and difficult-terrain caused by nature is treated as normal terrain. Additionally, you can take the dash and disengage actions while in natural difficult terrain.
Level 15: Fury of the Wilderness.
Once per long rest, you can take an action to unleash nature's fury, revealing the true wrath you faced when exploring the wilderness. Choose Cold, Fire or Lightning; you gain immunity to it, and it's respective benefit will apply to you for one minute. You can casts the spells provided from the effect from your Spectral Boomerang.
Adamant Winter. All of your attacks deal an extra 1d12 Cold damage, and you can cast Cone of Cold once without a spell slot. As a bonus action, you can half the speed of a creature you can see for 1 round.
Blazing Drought. All of your attacks deal an extra 1d12 Fire damage, and you can cast Fireball (Level 5 version) once without a spell slot. As a bonus action, you can force a creature you can see to make a Constitution Save (DC= Your Spell Save DC), and if they fail, they gain the Burning Condition. Burning created in this way does 1d10 Fire damage instead of 1d4.
Thunderous Floods. All of your attacks deal an extra 1d12 Lightning damage, and you can cast Thunderbolt (Level 5 version) once without a spell slot. As a bonus action, you create a wave beneath you and move up to half your Speed (rounded up) without provoking attacks of opportunity.

Posted Feb 27, 2026Quick dev note that this subclass has a few issues, mainly the lack of a level 11 feature and giving a ranger 5th Level Spells at level 15, 2 levels before they usually learn them
