Base Class: Wizard
High int low wis require/suggestion
A touch of sorcery
Allows you to add a spell to your spell book at the cost of a different spell in your spell book freely if seen, or at normal rates once every 2 long rests.
Can still add spells the normal way, but only once every long rest
Reckless casting
When casting a spell, you may use 1 "Umph" charge, increasing the final damage of the spell by your int modifier, you get your proficiency bonus amount of charges, resetting on a long rest, or can be decreased by 2 by taking on a point of exhaustion or expending a hit die on a short rest.
Upon using an Umph charge you may also double down on the bonus damage, increasing the bonus damage to your int modifier + con modifier + proficiency bonus, but take double the spells level as psychic damage that cannot be resisted (if you're immune u deserve the free bonus damage).
ONLY on damaging spells, bonus damage is doubled on single target leveled spells.
Efficient Counterspell
Improves your Counterspell:
Counterspell acts as if it was cast at 1 higher level, (lvl3 becomes lvl4).
If you have the spell in your spellbook, gain advantage on the ability check to disable the spell.
If you have already used counterspell since your last action (and don't have a reaction) you may use one Umpf to cast counterspell as a free action (still uses spell slots and doesn't receive the effective level increase)
Hyperfocus
Become hyperfocused, umpf costs are removed, proficiency bonus charges per long rest.
Use 1 charge for 1 round, 2 charges for 3 rounds, or 3 charges for 1 minute.
NOTE. this is very powerful. Please consult dm for cost adjustment, with games with many long rests costs should be higher, this is balanced around 4 daily combats lasting around 1 minute
Alt cost
Use 3 charges for 2 turns, 4 for 5 turns, 5 for 8 turns, 6 for 10 turns, maybe recover 1 or 2 charges on a short rest.
Dual casting
allows you to cast 2 spells at once, costs 2 umph
