Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A Barbarian that for whatever reason managed to touch upon the secrets of the arcane. Perhaps a wizard miserably tried to teach you or perhaps your mind has been befuddled by charm person one time too many. In the end, even though your grasp on the secrets of magic is iffy at best, you are making efficient use of it

Con is your spellcasting DC

The verbal and somatic components can be altered by the barbarian. If he believes stamping on the ground is the correct somatic component for earth tremor that is what’ll be effective. Yelling something which is vaguely reminiscent of what he once heard the wizard say also works as a verbal component.

Material components can’t be ignored

Int can’t go higher than 12

Level 6: Healthy Body, healthy mind

When at full health you can use a bonus action to cast a level 1 spell without expending a spell slot. This feature evolves to level 2 spells at level 10 and level 3 spells at level 14.

This feature resets after a short/long rest.

Level 10: Rage fueled magic

When raging, you can  use a spell instead of attacking once per turn. You can forego all somatic and verbal components for spells cast this way.

Level 14: Brain Child

Once per long rest you can focus your magical energy into your brain as a bonus action. If you succeed at headbutting an enemy (unarmed weapon attack) you expend your highest remaining spell slot and deal d4 force damage per spell slot level and 1d4 psychic damage.

You polymorph the target to look like a child-like version of yourself for 1 minute and form a mental connection with it as long as the polymorph remains. The target remains cognizant and is not charmed.

You can’t use this feature if you don’t have any more spell slots.
