Base Class: Monk
The path of the snake is one that is followed by those who would slink in the shadows and get the drop on their prey. Though your typical monk is one who is searching for the light, those who slither this path learn how to walk in the darkness and find the best opportunity to strike. They know when to stay hidden and gain the upper hand. Those who master this tradition are seen as top predators and are some of the deadliest monks in existence.
Poison Strike
Starting at 3rd level, when you use your bonus action to make a furry of blows, you can choose to instead make a singlebite attack instead. This attack deals the regular unarmed damage, and the creature must make a Constitution saving throw or become poisoned until the end of your next turn.
Snake Skin
At 6th level, you gain the ability to shed your skin like a snake would. You can spend 1 ki point as a bonus action to free yourself from being grappled, restrained, or shackled. Additionaly when you shed your skin, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your monk level.
Constricter
Beginning at 11th level, you learn how to curl around a creature like a constricter snake. When you grapple a creature, you can use your Acrobatics instead of Athletics. Also, when you successfully grapple or restrain a creature, you deal bludgeoning damage equal to your martial arts.
Born Hunter
At 17th level, you learn to sense the ki in your prey. You can expend 4 ki points and focus for a full minute to sense any creature within 100 feet of you. You know there exact position, whether or not they're moving and what their emotional state is. This feature does not work on constructs or undead.

Posted Apr 7, 2021this is amazing, but maybe add something to constrict to make it not worse than just attacking. maybe replacing one attacks of flurry of blows with a grapple and restraining the target if there grappled?
