Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Deities of Love have both the care of those who bring people together, but also those who have been wronged by those who have perverted love and the other drives that define sentience. Hell hath no fury, as the saying goes.

Clerics of these deities are granted additional spells to aid the course of love, and to punish betrayals. Their abilities are equally balanced between love and fury. They often are entrusted with performing marriages, counseling and guiding the heartsore, and overseeing rites of birth and adulthood, and their abilities reflect this.

Clerics of a deity of Love and Vengeance receive the abilities in the table below in addition to those provided to all clerics.

Love and Vengeance Domain Spells

Channel Divinity: Soothing Words

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to calm the fears or anxieties of those you minister to.

Remove Fear: As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak words of calm and reassurance to a creature or group of creatures. You may cancel the effects of the Frightened condition on one creature per your cleric level.

Calm Audience: By taking 10 minutes to speak, you may grant advantage on Charisma based checks made by a number of creatures you designate, up to your Charisma modifier. All targets must be within 60', and be able to both hear and see you. This power is ineffective with respect to undead, constructs, and those who do not understand the language you are speaking. The effect lasts for 1 hour.

Channel Divinity: Love's Blessing

At 6th level, when a creature within 30' of you makes a saving throw, you may use your reaction to grant that creature a +10 bonus to the roll, using your Channel Divinity. You make this choice after you see the roll, but before the DM says whether the attack hits or misses.

Divine Wrath

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with the wrath of your deity. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

Divine Vengeance

Starting at 17th level, enemies you declare vengeance against are marked for defeat by you and your allies. If you deal your Divine Wrath damage to a creature, that creature takes an extra 2d8 force damage the first time each turn that any ally of yours hits it with a weapon attack. This benefit lasts until the start of your next turn.
