Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Gun based Berserker class for Barbarian originally created by Evan Helenihi on Dungeon Master's Guild. I'm transferring it to DnD Beyond so I can use it for a character in a modern campaign. Also so people can see how cool this is and check out his other two subclasses. Made a slight tweak in a lvl 3 option but the rest is all his.

An orcish man faces down a mob of screaming demons, clad only in his street clothes and wielding naught but his shotgun. He is outnumbered ten-to-one, making this an even fight. An ancient fury courses through his veins and seizes his brain as the new technology in his hands roars fire and searing lead.

He howls with laughter as his foes fall before him, their blood soaking the ground beneath him.

Firearm Proficency

When you follow this Path at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with firearms.

Gun Bash

At 3rd Level you can use your guns as a cudgel as well as a firearm. In place of firing the weapon you can instead use it as a melee weapon. This counts as a Strength Weapon that you have proficiency with, which deals 1d8+Strength damage. This damage increases to 2d8 at 6th Level, 3d8 at 10th Level, and 4d8 at 14th Level Creatures you hit with this attack must make a Strength saving throw (DC = 8+ proficiency+Strength) or be knocked prone.

Rushdown

At 6th Level you have learned that sometimes the best defense is a good offense. When you take the Dash or Disengage action on your turn you can make a single firearm attack against a creature within range as a reaction.

Metal in my Soul

At 10th Level you have taken the searing durability and fluid nature of lead as your own. While raging you gain resistance to fire damage, and you now add your proficiency bonus to any ranged firearm attacks you make.

Reckoning of Lead

At 14th Level you understand that unceasing firepower is the greatest tool of battle there is. While raging, reloading your firearms counts as a free action on your turn. You can also make an additional firearm attack when you take the attack action on your turn.
