Monk
Base Class: Monk

You can conjure flames around yourself, manipulate them as you wish, and even make them last unnaturally long.

Basic Firebending

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can harness your own ki to create fire. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend 2 ki points to create flames within 60 feet of you, which you can then manipulate  and control as you like (no action required). Whenever a non-bending creature who doesn't use an action to fight the flames touches them, they take damage equal to 2d4 for each round they touch the flames. These dice are your Firebending Dice. Your Firebending Dice increase to 2d8 at 6th level, 3d10 at 11th level, and 4d12 at 17th level. Otherwise, your flames act like normal flames, and dissipate after 1 round if they do not have enough fuel to continue burning. You do not gain the Stillness of Mind feature at 5th level, as your Firebending is fueled by anger and inner turmoil.

improved Firebending

The range of your Firebending increases to 80 feet, and you can use a bonus action on each of your turns to make your flames last an additional 2 rounds.

Advanced Firebending

Beginning at 11th level, the range of your Firebending increases to 120 feet, your flames last 2 rounds without fuel, and you can sustain them for 2 rounds with a single bonus action.

Disciple of the Dragons

At 17th level, the range of your Firebending increases to 240 feet, and you gain the Stillness of Mind trait that you didn't gain at 5th level, as your Firebending power now comes from your own concentration, and not from your anger. As such, you can make your flames last as long as you want by concentrating as if on a 3rd-level spell. You also gain a breath weapon equivalent to that of a Brass Dragonborn, with 3d10 as the damage dice.
